A Very Long Sabbatical

Now then, think of this as a Pep Guardiola-esque sabbatical but a little bit longer and not just coming out managing potentially the greatest sides ever( if only eh).

It has been a while my fellow football lovers and I would like to apologise for the absence of posts over the last two years. As you may all know, the real world gets in the way of things sometimes and it was going to be a big ask to do this and schoolwork at the same time. However it is time to cast away your fears, because The Football Dugout is back!

It is my hope that I get back to writing the blogs more regularly. Moving swiftly on in the world, a lot has happened since I lasted posted on here especially in the Premier League, couple of surprises and couple of moments where you just think to yourself, 'oh he's done it again? Pity'. There will be plenty to talk about during the week with the prestigious champions league returning to us; where we have Arsenal playing a do or die game tomorrow evening against Bayern Munich( of all the teams right now). We also have Chelsea travelling to Ukraine to play Dynamo Kiev, in which will be very welcome away from domestic troubles in the premier league. We will also have the Manchester teams facing Sevilla and Wolfsburg, who will be wanting to give City and United a run for their money.

I hope you all look forward to the week of great games to come in Europe.

Be sure to follow The Football Dugout on Twitter, @football_dugout and also myself @BethelMoyo.

We shall meet again..
