Wellington for West Ham?
Wellington Pereira do Nascimento known as Wellington Paulista, was born in São Paulo on 22nd April 1984.

His footballing career began as a youth team player with Juventus-SP in 2000 and remained on their books until 2006. He gained vital footballing experience during loan spells at Mirassol, Parana & Santos.
It was during his time at Santos, where he scored 9 goals in 30 appearances, he caught the attention of Spanish Second Division club Deportivo Alvaes, who subsequently signed him in 2006.
Paulista played for Deportivo Alvaes until December 2007, when he returned home to Brazil and signed for Botofago. He scored 7 goals in 28 appearances during a two year stint, where he was an instrumental part of the teams 2008 Rio Cup victory.
In 2009, Paulista signed for Cruzerio, he scored 21 goals in 39 appearances to help them claim fourth spot in the Serie A and win the 2009 Minas Gerias State League. Five of his goals where scored during the Copa Libertadores campaign, they reached the final but with were defeated by Estudiantes.
In 2010, Paulista's haul of 10 goals in 30 appearances helped Cruzerio finish 2nd in Serie A and reach the quarter finals of the Copa Libertadores.
During 2011, he was loaned to Palmerias where he made 6 appearances before returning to Cruzerio in 2012. In all competitions, Paulista scored 28 goals in 40 appearances.
On 11th January 2013, Paulista signed a six month loan deal with West Ham United with an option of a further three years. To date, he has not yet broken into the first team, but has showed his goal scoring prowess in the Development Squad scoring three goals in his first three starts.
