Luis Suarez to Arsenal? You mad bro?
As a lot of arsenal fans and Liverpool fans as well, will know, Arsenal have put an audacious bid of around £30 million for the Uruguay international and Merseyside striker Luis Suarez.
Granted that guy is a fantastic talent and he would help the sorrowful gunners on the pitch, bringing the trophies home etc. Sadly there are about 100 reasons why I don’t want Suarez at Arsenal or why Suarez wouldn’t go to Arsenal. Too make sure I don’t bore
Controversies galore
Now I know Arsenal have had to deal with their fair share of problems in the dressing room with the likes of William Gallas, Emmanuel Adebayor (25 million, eat that Spurs fans) or ‘even the world beater’ Nicklas Bendtner. But never have we ever had to deal with someone who thinks its fun to call Patrice Evra Chocolate man or wanting to have a bite out of Ivanovic. This is certainly not the first time he has bitten someone either; he bit someone in Holland when he was playing for Ajax, got banned for 7 games and that was the last time he played for the Dutch giants. I don’t want to keep berating this guy but he’s also got a really bad reputation for diving (mind you that diving celebration aimed at David Moyes was hilarious). With that amount of baggage, I’m a bit unsure Wenger would be willing to carry it for Luis.
Pressure from the British Media
This would be a dream come true for British journalist, they don’t like Luis Suarez and he’s picked that up pretty quickly, also why wants to leave. They also don’t like Arsenal Football Club, so this would be a match made in heaven for them. We would get enormous criticism for spending so much money on one player, even if he is world class. Not only that, Suarez hates the British media and vice versa so it doesn't mean they will leave him alone will they?
Targeted by Madrid/ Will Liverpool sell?
I’m also very intrigued by Arsenal wanting to sign this danger man because he said in June that he wants to move abroad because of all the hate he gets and all that excuse. He also then pointed out that it would be a dream to move Real Madrid. Two weeks later he saying he would welcome a move to Arsenal after their bid was rejected. Clearly this guy can’t make his mind up can he? I mean seriously, its not like London is a completely different culture is it? Besides Liverpool won’t sell cheap to their Premier League Rivals, nothing less than 40 million pounds. Lot of money eh Arsene?
Who am I kidding, I’m just an Arsenal fan, Wenger knows best, if he thinks he is the man to make Suarez the biggest danger-man in Europe then so be it.
