Gunners dread Guard of Honour

A gooner's View

In the words of the gunners boss, Arsene Wenger, “Arsenal will go out and play Man United and we will respect Robin Van Persie, whether he is a champion or not, as a club we will respect him”, that is not something that gooners will want to hear. Now the bad news for Arsenal fans, they are going to have to give Manchester United, the guard of honour, in order to acknowledge Manchester United as the newly crowned champions of England, including Robin Van Persie.   A lot of Arsenal fans on twitter have mentioned that acknowledging Van Persie as champion like acknowledging and applauding an ex-partner for doing something that is lauded by a lot of people but yourselves.

 

Now, fellow arsenal fans don’t get me wrong, I’m still very bitter about Van Persie going to Man United, but we shouldn’t be messing around with the whole situation, let the team get the job done and let them talk on the football pitch.  

So good luck to Arsenal, hope you enjoy this guard of honour. I hope Gazidis is watching this on Sunday as well.
