Can Stoke Avoid the Drop?

Stoke had a great positive start to this seasons campaign which saw a lot of people involved with football including Everton manager David Moyes state that Stoke may be pushing for a place in the top 5 but now they sit just 3 points above the drop zone with 5 'cup finals' left according to their manager Tony Pulis. His side have not won since early February in the league and have scored the least amount of goals in the premier league and their usually reliable defence has been very sloppy since Christmas and their famous atmosphere at home games has gone in the last few games and some fans have turned on manager Tony Pulis who has never experienced relegation from the premier league.
Most fans feel that 'Pulis has not signed the right people in the 2 transfer windows this season as he has a much needed goal scorer as the only striker he has signed (Michael Owen) has been viewed as a 'flop' despite only starting a handful of games and scoring one goal as a substitute at Swansea in mid January.

Stoke have a few '6 pointers' remaining with trips to fellow struggles QPR and Sunderland and a home game against Norwich. If Stoke win all these fixtures then survival will almost be guaranteed.

Should the Potters avoid the drop then Pulis will defiantly be in the market for some new players including a much needed striker which the fans will surely demand.
